Frequently Asked Questions

  • You will have a 60-90 minute initial consultation. We will walk through your animals history and goals of treatment. An assessment of the animal will be performed, followed by the treatment and post-treatment assessment. We will then create a plan moving forward for you and your fur baby! Follow-up sessions are 30-60 minutes.

  • CVT is a unique 3D vibration that generates a circular motion, providing a deep, penetrating massage that is gentle on the body. The therapy mat has a 50 times lower acceleration rate than classic vibration, making it different from other therapy equipment. This allows us to give a deeper massage without causing discomfort. It is also great for animals who are nervous and/or dislike manipulation. Rental options available also.

  • Absolutely, you can! Not only do we have experience with anxious, highly stressed, and reactive dogs but both massage and the therapy mat can have great benefits for the nervous system. Both as a regular treatment and before or after stressful events. The therapy mat also has a Tranquil-ssage® setting that works great for these instances on dogs and cats alike.

Using a unique undulation, Tranquil-ssage® moves vibration intensity from highest to lowest setting via slow-moving rhythmical waves of CVT. Through hypnotic effects on the nervous system, Tranquil-ssage® aids in achieving ultimate relaxation.

  • Generally, yes. Not only is it helpful to have an extra set of hands while assessing & treating your pet, but we will also need to gain some history. The sessions are also a great way to learn what you can do at home to assist your pet. However, some of our regular clients have busy schedules and the animals know us and are very comfortable with us. In those cases, we’re happy to perform treatment without you and we’ll follow up afterwards!

  • If your animal is feeling unexpectedly unwell, we will not be able to perform a treatment on that day and it is best to seek veterinary attention and advice. However, if your animal is feeling unwell due chronic illness, pain, etc. and is being managed by a vet, there’s plenty of ways we can help! If your animal is suffering from a skin condition, massage may still be able to be performed if the condition is localised. The therapy mat (CVT), however, is great for skin support/dermatitis.

  • No! Although dogs and cats are our main clientele, we have treatment options for all animals. Rabbits, sheep, birds, horses, you name it!
